When the app is working I love the detail with the input that is given. But the app has a major bug: each time I used it, got my lineup set pre game, then while in the game somehow the line up changed. Who I had a second was now at third, and who I had set batting 6th was now up to bat in the three spot. Also, need to be able to download active and current MLB rosters.

Pretty good app. Ive used it for Mets games and also for softball/wiffleball games with friends. It would be great if we could see stats afterwards. Emailing/printing the score card is pretty neat.

Ive tried at least a half dozen apps over the last few years for scoring MLB games. My search is over! This app is so easy, yet in about 10 games of scoring, I havent found any play is doesnt do correctly. Its simple and straightforward and very easy to learn. It would be absolutely perfect, if there was a way to download a roster from the Internet. It is a pain to input the lineup and subsequent pitching and defensive changes. Not that the app doesnt make it easy and pretty quick, its just a lot of typing. Other than that, this app is a keeper!

This app is so easy to use! I cannot wait for future updates that allow easier stat sharing, advanced softball setting, etc.

Home Field has been great for casual scoring of my sons Little League games, and is very intuitive to use. The developers are super responsive and open to suggestions, and the app produces great game summaries, scorecards, and box scores. This is an app I had been searching for a long time. Very well done.

Very good app, but no way to go back and correct mistakes without undoing everything that happened after the mistake, so its hard to use in real time during a ballgame. I know that would be a complex upgrade so Im not letting it affect my rating too much. I use this app to go back and score my little league games after the fact from video and it works perfectly for that.

I was hoping to find an app to use in my adult amateur league. Unfortunately there are a couple of issues that make it difficult. In our league the batting lineup is completely separate from the fielding lineup. We can also hit as many players as we want. The hitters dont actually have to play in the field. This app doesnt require you to put a position with your hitter, but if you dont the name will not show up on the lineup card. My league also allows adding people to the end of the lineup during the game. I havent found a way to do that yet (although Im still trying to find a way). Maybe there is a workaround for these issues but I havent found it yet. Most of the amateur leagues use these same sort of rules and they have become HUGE over the last decade. Hopefully we will get an upgrade to help cater to this market soon. All of that being said. This is a great app for the standard format HS, college, and pro games use to score.

I have been using this app to score both my sons Little League games (Majors and AAA). I agree with JR Ewing. Because you cannot edit a game after completing it makes real frustrating to undo all of your work for a recording mistake you made in the 2nd. Dont let this deter you from using this app! It is by far the best one Ive found. They have done such a nice job with all the things you can do. This is a couple of fixes away from being a solid five star app.
